You could also add color during this step if desired.
Fold over the top of the bag to keep the outside clean and spoon the mixture inside the bag.
Add sensory items, include a variety of fun object for children to explore. This could also be turned into a seek & find activity. Try using miniature items of the objects found on our Fall Seek & Find lists, provide the lists and a marker for children to add some literacy fun to this activity.
Seal ziploc bag securely. For extra security you can use duct tape to seal the top.
It’s time to squish!
