In honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness month, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this product are being donated to the Monkey in my Chair Organization. As some of you know, I am a proud Mom of a childhood cancer survivor! At the age of 6 my son was diagnosed with a Medulloblastoma Brain Tumor during his 1st week of school. Through research I was able to find this amazing organization, who's mission helps young cancer patients stay connected to their classmates even when they are away from the class for treatment. This organization send a kit that includes a huge stuffed monkey that "sits in" for your child while they are away (and a smaller one to hang out with your child on hospital visits), they also send an age appropriate book, about having a classmate with cancer, and a journal for the class to record any activities your child missed in school. Thanks for helping me support this cause!
Preschoolers are busy learning many different basic math concepts, paving the way for more complex number operations later in life.
To keep learning interesting it's important for educators to have a variety of fun materials and activities on-hand. I love supporting early childhood educators by creating new printables and showing fun ways to use them!
