Going on a picnic in the Summer is such a fun activity! This pack explores Picnics, Ants, & Watermelons!
Inside each of my activity packs you will find an assortment of easy to assemble printable activities. You can easily turn these activities into a variety of hands on learning centers. Use them to create tot trays or file folder games.
When preschoolers engage in these fun activities they are developing important social, fine motor, math, and literacy skills.

We are reaching the last few days of summer, but you should still have some nice days left to enjoy a picnic with your preschooler! One of my favorite picnic stories isThe Bear's Picnic, by Stan and Jan Berenstain. In this delightful story the Bear's go on an adventure to find just the perfect picnic spot.
To compliment this Berenstain Bears classic story, (and your picnic lesson plans!) I've created this free printable picnic blanket weaving craft template.
Paper weaving is a great hands on paper craft to build fine motor skills, and is also a fun way to explore patterns!
Preschoolers are learning all about numbers and counting. Pair their love of learning with a fun picnic theme to learn some of the different ways numbers can be represented.
Children work to sort the 7 different picnic food items to each mat for numbers 1-10.
