Wonderful books for Preschoolers about Leaves and Trees

Something about Fall makes me want to read even more than usual. 
This fall enjoy some books all about Leaves and Trees with your preschoolers. Here are a few of our favorites!

This book is a fun exploration all about why trees loose their leaves.

Learn a bit about 26 different types of trees in this fun book; I absolutely love all the adjectives that are used throughout!

Miss. Twiggley's Tree

Have you ever considered what it might be like to live in a tree? Preschoolers will love this silly book. Follow-up this book by encouraging your child to think about what it might be like if they lived in a tree. 

Leaves

Bear is experiencing his first autumn season and wondering why the trees are losing their leaves. Bear wonders if the leaves are okay and even tries to put them back on the trees! Follow along as bear learns about the changing of seasons.

This amazing rhyming book sheds some light on all the bustling activity that takes place in a tree! 

Red Leaf, Yellow Leaf & Leaf Man

We couldn't pick just one so Lois Ehlert gets two nods for this theme. 
Both of these books have the wonderful illustrations we've come to expect from Ehlert and are a joy to read as well.
