This versatile pack includes all you need to seek and find winter items indoors or out!
Take the checklist and a clipboard outside to look for objects, use the object cards in your sensory bin, or use with the seek and find mats.
Set up this activity to help children meet the following Early Learning Standards:
Language and Literacy: Visual discrimination skills, Understands print carries a message.
Science: Notices similarities and differences in objects, Uses senses to explore the environment
Social Studies: developing a sense of direction and location
Physical Development: Gross Motor Development (go on a walk to seek & find using the checklist); Fine Motor Development (Hide the object cards in a bin of cottonballs, provide small scoops)

This pack includes 4 different winter scenes to support engagement.
Rotate out the same scenes for one activity or use each scene in a different way!
You can: Set up the object cards in a sensory bin for children to seek & find, go on a walk to seek & find, use to play bingo, or follow the checklist as children seek & find.
Inside this pack you will find a printable checklist to compliment each scene. For your convenience I have included both a color and B&W version, simply print off the checklist that works best for your activities.
There are 12 Seek & Find cards included to compliment each winter scene for a total of 48 Seek & Find Cards
Turn the object cards upside-down in a pile. Draw a card and identify the picture. Then search on the mat to find the object!
You can mark the mat with a pom pom or marker.
**Try laminating and using with a dry-erase marker!
*Add the scenes and/or cards to your literacy center or use during circle time for children to create a fun winter story. Try giving each child a card and take turns adding to the story using the card they have
*Add a scene to your calm down space, children can use the scenes to help them with self-regulation.
*Use with a favorite Winter Book: Use the checklist to see if you can find the objects in your favorite winter books.
