Free Preschool Early Learning Standards Checklist
Do you ever ask yourself what your preschool aged child should be learning? Here at Pre-K Printable Fun we use this set of Early Learning Standards to design our activities! This free preschool early learning standards checklist contains some of the outcomes you can expect your preschooler (ages 3-5 not yet in Kindergarten) to be working towards mastering as they are using our products.
Our early learning standards list describe over 50 preschool learning outcomes spanning the following 8 developmental domains: Social Emotional, Approaches to Learning, Physical Development (Gross Motor, Fine Motor, Health & Safety), Language & Literacy, Mathematics, Science & Discovery. Social Studies, and Art & Creativity.
These standards have been developed based on the research and study of common preschool learning domains accepted across many individual U.S States.
You will notice symbols representing the above 8 developmental domains being referenced in the instructions pages of many of my products, and on my site. These symbols make it easier for you to select appropriate Pre-K Printable Fun activities to support the growth of your preschoolers.
Be sure to highlight the learning that is happening in your program as children play! In addition to our checklist, you will also find a set of preschool learning outcome posters in this download. Place them around your learning spaces for parents and staff, or send a copy home with parents.
Please keep in mind, each student is unique, and develops at their own pace!
