Valentine's Day Slime Tutorial
Preschoolers will love this fun Valentine's inspired slime tutorial! This is a fun and easy sensory experience that preschoolers can help create.
Begin by pouring all of the glue into a mixing bowl, this is a great step for preschoolers to help with! Preschoolers love to squeeze and for good reason. Squeezing is essential for developing arm and hand muscles.
Add the baking soda. Stir well until combined.
Add the contact solution and stir until slime forms.
Knead the slime with your hands until you get the desired consistency, another excellent step for muscle development.
Time to Play!
Simply place the slime on your plastic play mat, add some fun accessories like these heart gems and enjoy!
Use the heart gems to make imprints in the slime
Preschoolers will enjoy using this slime over and over. Consider adding different accessories for repeat play.
Store in an airtight container to reuse later. Toss when it starts to change consistency, color, or just becomes icky! If you are making this for a small group consider making each child their own portion for germ control.
