• Valentine themed stickers, stamps, and hole punches
• Scissors – regular and edged
• White glue or glue sticks
• Heart-shaped doilies
• Paper Hearts in varied colors
• Markers
• Crayons
• Colored Pencils
• Paint sticks
• Pom Poms
• Trays and containers​

A cart writing station is the perfect writing station to compliment your Valentine's Day theme. ​Set out assorted paper and add an assortment of art materials to your trays or containers.
Be sure to have a variety of colors available so children can customize as they see fit.
Teacher Tip* When demonstrating how to fold the card in half be sure to mention the word symmetry.

Encourage them to pick their favorite items to create a card for parents, grandparents or a special friend. Make the card extra special with their own drawings and creations. 

They can draw a picture with the markers or crayons or use the glue to add heart-shaped doilies, pompoms or cutouts.
