  • Use pictures and visuals to help your preschoolers get a better understanding of what a turkeys home looks like. And, this is a great opportunity to teach them about the word habitat.
  • Get creative and have your preschoolers build a turkey habitat diorama.

Turkey Feathers and Colors

  • Using books or pictures take a closer look at a turkey. What colors do you see? Write it down and make a chart with your preschoolers.
  • Grab a bag of craft feathers and have your preschoolers practice their sorting skills. Sort by colors!
