Vocabulary & Scaffolding
This pack includes vocabulary photo cards to encourage educators and children to use a variety of vocabulary, some of which may be new for the children.
Question cards are also included for suggestions on what you can ask preschoolers to encourage problem-solving and thinking skills.
As children are building they may realize they need to make changes. In this example he realized the tower should be taller for Jack to reach the castle.
**Teacher Tip: As an added challenge once Jack has reached the top, move the castle to another location and challenge children to extend their building to reach it.
Have plenty of extra cups on-hand for children that are inspired to keep building!
