Snow and Snowman Book Picks for Preschoolers

There are so many wonderful preschool books about snow, it's hard to pick the coolest of them all. Somehow I managed to narrow it down to just a few favorites in this post.

Squirrel and Chipmunk have stumbled upon a snowman...only they don't realize it's a snowman; to them it's just a pile of snow with stuff stuck in it. 
Find out what happens when they deconstruct the snowman and bring the parts back home. 

Red Sled

Who could resist an adventurous ride on a sleek red sled? Find out who takes the sled for a ride in this fun story. 

White Snow Bright Snow

Everyone in the community prepares for snow in different ways. Community workers and parents all have a role to play, and so do the children. This book is such a delight with wonderful illustrations. 

The Snowy Nap

This fun book is a great way to introduce hibernation to preschoolers. Find out what happens when Hedgie decides to stay up for winter so he doesn't miss out on all the winter fun.

This is such a fun rhyming book all about snow! 
This is a great addition to any child's library and can become one of the first books they read independently when ready.

All preschoolers should experience this wordless story from Raymond Briggs. This is such a fun book that gets children really paying attention to the illustrations in books. 

The Twelve Days of Winter

Preschoolers will love this fun book inspired by the Christmas song "Twelve Days of Christmas" ​After reading this fun book try some of the fun snow inspired activities the children in this book did.
