North Pole Mail Station

The North Pole Mail Center is an important part of Santa's Workshop!
This dramatic play pack includes printable open/closed signs, North Pole Mail Center sign, and the Toy Request Letters and Forms. Add a clipboard, pens and perhaps a mailbox to complete this center!
**You can find a Santa's mailbox at many stores during December, be sure to check at your local department store, craft stores, and even the dollar store!
For a fun DIY, pick up an inexpensive plain mailbox and decorate to create your Santa's Mailbox!

The mail center creates many opportunities for language and literacy development!
Little elves will need to read the letters to Santa in order to complete Toy Request Forms and fulfill Christmas Wishes!

The Toy Request Forms are great for early writing skills and executive function skill development.
**Print either full size or half size forms. You can usually find small clipboards at the dollar store.

North Pole Toy Making Station

Once elves have their toy request checklist ready, it's time to get to work making toys!

Add a few tools and building toys or recyclables to complete this center!
These take apart toys (as seen in the photos) are a great addition to this center!
The signs and labels included in this dramatic play pack are great for identifying the space, keeping it organized, and supporting literacy development.

Little screwdrivers and screws, found in many take apart toys sets, are fantastic for developing hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Plus, they are tons of fun!

Gift Wrapping Station

A wrapping station is a great addition to Santa's Workshop!
There are so many learning opportunities in this center, plus wrapping gifts is so much fun!

There are so many fun and easy ways to set up a gift wrapping station.
Here are a few ideas:

Use play scarves (as shown in our photo) along with some fun clothespins. Play scarves are great because they have so many uses in the classroom!
Use real wrapping paper along with scissors and tape.
Use aluminum foil, pre-cut sheets are best for use with preschoolers.

*Small blankets such as receiving blankets.

DIY Wrapping paper by having children decorate white butcher paper.

Be sure to add some gift tags to encourage children to practice their writing skills!

The wrapping center is sure to be a popular center, kids love to wrap presents.
Adding little clothespins with scarves or scissors and paper support development of essential pre-reading and writing skills such as building finger strength and dexterity as well as hand-eye coordination.

Finally, add the wrapped gift to Santa's Bag in preparation for his big trip!
A large gift bag or laundry bag will also work!

North Pole Baking Station

Everyone knows how much elves love Christmas Treats!
Easily transform your housekeeping area into a Christmas baking station!

Add a few signs from this dramatic play pack, along with some baked goods to your dramatic play stand (see the tutorial for ours here) to complete this center.
Pull out those tins from last year or pick some up at your local dollar tree to add to this center.
