Use the hole punch to 3 holes in the top of the cup or bowl in a triangle pattern.
Cut 3 pieces of yarn and thread them through each hole.
Make sure the cup or bowl is even.
Then tie all of the yarn together at the top leaving enough room to be able to swing it for painting.
Poke holes in the bottom of the cup or bowl.
Quickly pour various colors of paint into the cup or bowl.
Lift the cup/bowl by the yarn and swing back and forth and side to side over the canvas allowing the paint to stream out of the holes.
Change up the direction the pendulum swings periodically to add more variety to the design.
When you are satisfied with your design place the canvas or paper aside to dry.
