My goal was to design a binder that was easy to assemble, customize, update and organize. SkillsThe Circle Time Binder covers skills such as: Colors, Numbers, Uppercase & Lowercase Letters, Shapes, Days of the Week and Months of the Year. You can also use it in combination with my other printable activities such as Patterning activities, Literacy games, Counting mats to extend the learning. Who is at home/Who is here today? I've included three editable Who is at home? and Who is here today? attendance activities that work on name recognition! These name cards are easily editable. Add up to 9 children's names per page. Use this activity to open your circle time! Everyone finds their name on the Who is at home mat and moves it to the Who is here today mat. Expand This: You can expand on this activity by having the children locate their friends names, or create cards with just their last names on them. Feelings Matter Use this activity as an opportunity to focus on social emotional skills! Provide everyone an opportunity to participate and share how they are feeling ! A Feelings Poster is included in the circle time download as well as "Today I feel" clip cards. Days of the Week & Months of the Year Learn about the days of the week, and the order of the days! Combine the Days of the Week Poster with your favorite Days of the Week Song, and use it to store you days of the Week calendar pieces. The Months of the Year Poster is designed to practice the names of the months, the order of the months, and also serves as a place to "store" your months of the year calendar pieces. Call out the shape and have the children point to it, or find an object in the room of a similar shape. For older children you can practice matching Shape words to the shapes themselves.
