Valentine's Day Pattern Block Mats
Pattern blocks are a fun way for preschoolers to work on math and fine motor skills.
These Valentine's Day Pattern Block Mats are great to set out with your set of Pattern Blocks during your Valentine's Day theme!
Each page features the image with the pattern blocks filled in as well as a blank template. Keep them together so children can use the top as a guide, or cut apart and use either set depending on developmental level.
Learning to construct shapes out of other shapes is important for young children. Later they can use this base knowledge as they learn to decompose numbers for math and combining letters to make words.
Preschoolers love Valentine's Day, making these pattern block mats engaging and fun for little ones.
Each mat features a different image children can create. In this one children are primarily using two shapes creating an AB pattern. After completing challenge them to see what else they can build with only those two blocks.
Handling the small blocks and positioning them is fantastic for developing small motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Build a little love with hugs and kisses!
With a little imagination all kinds of things can be created using pattern blocks!
