Plan a Garden Preschool STEM Activity
Planning and growing a garden presents numerous science, math, and literacy learning opportunities for preschoolers.
The Pre-K Printable Fun My Garden STEM Activity pack is great for supporting preschoolers as they plan and build their garden. This pack can be used for the entire process. From the beginning with learning all about various related vocabulary and tools with conversation cards, to the planning stage, planting the garden, and the ongoing care of the garden.
Design Your Own Garden
An important step before planting a garden, is figuring out what will be planted and where. This pack includes a Garden Plan and Cards (included in both B&W as well as Color) that can be used for planning. Work on fine motor skills by using as cut and paste or laminate to use again and again!
Put your plan on a clipboard to take out to the garden with you when it comes time to plant.
Create Plant Labels
Be sure to mark where each item is planted! The included labels can be laminated and put onto craft sticks or use mod podge to put them on wood or rocks.
