Recipe Start by combining dry ingredients in a large bowl. If you are making this recipe with preschoolers, this is a great step to include them on. Stir in oil and water-juice-zest mix. Knead with your hands until play dough consistency is reached, add a little flour if mixture is too sticky. Including preschoolers on this step is excellent fine-motor practice and preschoolers will tell you if the mixture is too sticky, also a great time to introduce new vocabulary like glutinous, viscid, and clingy! When the play dough is at the perfect consistency, invite your preschoolers to play. If you haven't included them in the preparation of the play dough ask them to guess what fruit the play dough is made with. You can also make multiple scents to have them smell and predict!
