Multiple Levels of Play
This activity includes two levels of learning to individualize activities.
For parents this means you can use this pack with multiple young children and/or use it with your child as they grow.
For early childhood educators, this makes differentiated teaching easier.
Level 1 is perfect for children working on letter recognition.
Identify summer image and say the word aloud. The "missing letter" is outlined in white, find the matching magnet letter and place on top.
The level 2 cards support children working on phonemes.
Identify the summer image and say the word aloud.
Then focus on the sounds in the word to determine which letter is missing.
The missing letters are either beginning or middle sounds.
Seek and Find
After filling in the missing words seek and find the image on the summer scene. Seek and find activities help children as they learn to identify similarities and differences as well as visual discrimination.
