Build strong fine motor skills, with these easy to assemble Christmas Lacing Cards, made from recycled greeting cards.
Used Christmas Cards
Scissor (or paper cutter)
Step 1: Once you have selected the cards you are going to use, simply place them in a lamination pouch and laminate them.
Step 2: Cut out your cards. Be sure to round the corners on your cards so they won't poke the children.
Step 3: Punch holes around the edges with your whole punch
Step 4: Cut ribbon (or yard) and secure it by tying it to a corner of the card. Make lacing easier for small hands, by wrapping a piece of masking tape around the edge of the ribbon.
These can be saved and reused year after year, or the children can bring them home to display.
