Crayon resist art is a fantastic process art exploration for young children. The process can be explored with toddlers, preschoolers, and beyond.
Learn a new art process, develop fine motor skills, and engage in creative expression.

Magnet painting combines process art, an element of science, and music! As with any STEAM or process art activity, the focus is on a child's creativity and observation skills as opposed to the final product.
Here are some learning outcomes and vocabulary opportunities for this activity:
Solar Printing is a fun process art experience for preschoolers!
This art invitation is easy to set up and doubles as a science experiment!
Kids love to mix paint! It's just like magic! For this activity we are going to make brown!
For this tutorial the kids made mud for their trucks and cars to drive through and make tracks
Stamping with Bottle Caps is so much fun. It's such a sensory experience, as the bottle cap slides around in the paint. For this activity I've used the closed side of the bottle cap, but using the open side is just as fun. If you don't have any bottle caps you can also use Corks, Small Foam Stamps, or even cardboard tubes.
