An important component of any Early Childhood Education Program is Parent Engagement. Parent Engagement is a great opportunity to get parents involved with your early childhood program and become a real partner in the education of their children.
Planning for Parent Engagement can be quite time consuming, so I have created this easy to assemble Parent Engagement Series as one simple way for you to promote parent engagement in your program.
This 55-pg. download includes everything you'll need to implement this series in your program including: instructions, a parent welcome letter (describing the program), 12 2-page monthly newsletters, and printable activities that align with the newsletters.
Busy boards allow young children to explore otherwise "adult" items in a safe manner. Many of these busy boards contain items you find around your home such as locks, keys, and latches. Other types of busy boards include: Magnet Boards, Ball Runs, and Velcro boards. Your board can be made from existing toys such as puzzles, or busy boxes. Although many of the activities are mounted to the wall, they can also be made to use on the floor, or mounted to a table as well..
Below you will find some fabulous examples of DIY Busy boards that have been shared in our on-line community.

Looking for a creative way to display your classroom wishlist this year? During the holidays (and throughout the year), many parents are looking for ways they can donate to your program. These signs provide a fun and easy way to let them know what is needed/desired for your program. Choose from the pre-made donation request cards, or use the blank ones to create your own. In addition to requests for re-usable items these signs can also be used to request toys, or even as volunteer requests!
Is your Child care or Preschool program closed for Thanksgiving? Do your clients forget to pay you when you close? The holidays are such a busy time for everyone. I've made a set of free signs for you to remind your clients that you will be closed for the Holiday! Just hang it on your door, or display it near your sign-in area.
This free printable includes 4 designs in two different styles.
