Sensory bin Setup
Pair these activities with a dry sensory material of your choice. Pom poms work well for this activity. We chose mini pom poms in a variety of colors.
You can use this activity in a large sensory table or in a bin placed on a table...whatever works best for you!
2D Shape Activities
Invite your preschooler on a shape hunt in the sensory bin!
Hide the 9 bubblegum shape pieces in your sensory bin. As your preschooler finds a shape, they can mark it on the Seek & Find Mat.

Another way to play: Preschoolers can color in the shapes on the Shape Recording Sheet as they find them in the sensory bin.
I know my Colors Seek & Find
Invite your preschooler to hunt for colors! Search for the color pieces in the sensory bin and mark them on the Seek & Find Mat or on the Colors Recording Sheet.
Individualize these activities based on skill level and interest.
If you have a preschooler that loves hands-on and manipulating pieces, they would benefit from using the Seek & Find recording mat and pom poms as markers.
For children that love to color, invite them to color in the bubblegum pieces on the Color Recording Sheet or Color Words Recording sheet.

Gumball Machine 1-20 Counting Mat
Practice numeral recognition, reading number words, 1:1 correspondence, and counting out loud with this activity!
Flip a number then fill the Gumball Machine with the same number of pom poms. This is also a fun one to laminate and use with play dough "gum balls".
Trace Bubble Gum Pop Numbers
Practice tracing numbers 1-20 with these cute Bubble Gum Pop tracing cards!
Laminate and use with a dry-erase marker for repeat use!
