I'm having trouble printing
We have a whole page of printing tips here!
How do I save time and money printing and laminating?
Although 99% of the products I create are intended to be assembled once, and re-used year after year, I have a few recommendation on how to save on printing and laminating costs!
  1. I suggest you consider a printer that qualifies for the HP Instant Ink Program (such as the HP Envy). See how I discuss the money it has saved me here.
  2. Consider placing reproducible activities inside dry erase pockets. These are also great for the dramatic play area to hold lists, and order forms.
  3. Check your printer settings to see if you can print in Grey-Scale
  4.  Instead of printing counting pieces, combine them with your favorite math manipulatives or counters.
  5. Print multiple pages per sheet. This is helpful if you want to create smaller task cards. Use this tutorial to try out this printing technique!
  6. I recommend you Laminate before cutting! While it is not "necessary" to laminate your printables, It will certainly help maintain your investment. The majority of my printables are activities that can be re-used year after year by the children in your care. A quality laminating machine (such as this Scotch Brand one I use) is relatively inexpensive. Other options include inserting the pages into sheet protectors, or dry-erase pockets.
  7. Investing in a quality paper cutter will save you time-I love this one from Fiskars
  8. Review the printables and use the "select print" option to only print the pages you plan to use.
I'm a VIP Founding member, do I have to pay again?
No. As a founding member you will have access to the products inside the member area at no additional charge. Lifetime memberships are valid as long as Pre-K Printable Fun continues to offer our membership and or remains in business online. If the Pre-K Printable Fun Site ever needed to be taken down or we eliminated our membership program for any reason, all existing lifetime members would be notified, and allowed at least 90 days to  to save the files to their own hard drive. Keep in mind there are NO plans of eliminating our membership entirely or closing the site.
how do i cancel my subscription
We do not offer subscription billing. Your membership will automatically expire at the end of your 1-year or 2-year term. There are no automatic renewals.

Before your membership ends, we’ll send you a reminder with details on how to renew if you’d like to continue.
Will I get a receipt for my membership order?
Yes.  You will receive an auto generated confirmation with a receipt link directly to the email you provided in your member record once your payment is processed.  If you don’t receive one you might want to check your spam folder or make sure to whitelist our email address ([email protected]).  If you are using a school-based email address be aware that sometimes the systems used by schools “block” emails coming from businesses.  If this is happening you might want to give us a personal email address to use for all communication.
How to Use Filters in the Activity Library
The Activity Library includes several filters to help you quickly find the right activities for your lesson.
You don’t need to use all of them—most of the time, using just 1–2 filters will help you find what you need 😊

⭐ The Easiest Way to Start
If you’re not sure where to begin:

👉 Start with a Theme
👉 Then add one more filter (like Learning Center or Skill)

🧭 What Each Filter Means
Theme → What are you teaching?
Use this to choose a topic for your lesson (like Farm, Pets, or Outer Space).
👉 Best for: Planning a full week or themed unit

🏫 Learning Center → Where will this be used?Use this to find activities for specific areas of your classroom.
Examples include:
  • Dramatic Play
  • Literacy & Language
  • Math
  • Science
  • Fine Motor
👉 Best for: Filling a specific center or rotation

🎯 Skills / Domain → What are children learning?
Use this when you’re focusing on a specific skill.

Examples:
  • Counting
  • Letter recognition
  • Fine motor skills
  • Social-emotional skills
👉 Best for: Targeting learning goals

🧩 Format Type → What kind of resource do you want?
This filter helps you choose the type of activity or material:
  • Hands-On Activity → Includes materials, directions, and teaching tips
  • Printable Product → Full activity packs (dramatic play sets, themed packs, etc.)
  • Printable Activity → Individual printable activities
  • Digital → Activities for screens or interactive use
  • YouTube Video → Video-based learning
  • Blog Post → Setup ideas and additional guidance
👉 Best for: Finding the format that fits your prep time and teaching style

  • Member Exclusive → Available only to members
  • Free → Available for anyone
  • Buy in Shop (Free for Members) → Free for members, available for purchase by non-members
👉 Best for: Finding included resources quickly

💡 Helpful Tips
  • You don’t need to use every filter—start simple
  • Most members use:
    👉 Theme + Learning Center
    OR
    👉 Theme + Skill
  • If you’re feeling overwhelmed, start with just a theme and browse
How do I find the Theme Planning Guides and other member-exclusive resources?
You can find both Theme Planning Guides and member-exclusive resources inside the Activity Library.
