Susie Hackel is a retired elementary reading specialist who worked in the New Milford CT public schools for 24 years. Her passion is literacy education. After retirement, she started a voiceover business with a specialty in children's audiobooks and e-learning. This is a perfect blend of her love of theater and education. Susie has years of experience performing in local theaters in musicals and plays. She has performed in many children's plays where she enjoys using her many character voices. Susie received her BA in elementary education from SUNY Cortland and her masters in Literacy at the College of New Rochelle, where she returned for a change of career late in life. Susie began her career as an early childhood teacher at day care centers and was a Pre-K and Kindergarten teacher in the public schools. It was there, where she was introduced to the classic fingerplays and nursery songs. Susie has recorded several audiobooks for children that can be found on Audible, as well as other platforms, including Youtube. Audrey Weatherstone, MT-BC, NMT earned her bachelors in music therapy from Shenandoah Conservatory, and is now a board certified music therapist and songwriter based in Richmond Virginia. Audrey has worked with many populations as a music therapist ranging from pediatrics. to neurologic rehabilitation, to hospice care. In addition to music therapy, Audrey has 15+ years experience writing, recording, and performing as a singer-songwriter. She is drawn to using music and writing to support the well-being and self-expression of herself and others. Audrey now works as an independent songwriter and solo artist creating her own music as well as commissioned work for others.
