Add mother and baby figures to the construction area
Plan and create a nature collage for a beautiful Mother's Day gift! Start by encouraging children to plan how they will create their artwork. What colors will they use? What types of material will they collect? Next, get out into nature and collect materials. As children collect materials challenge them to consider what items may stick to the glue and which may not (and why). Then, combine clear glue and paint and pour the mixture into a shallow container of choice (a cardboard lid works great). Then encourage students to arrange their nature treasures into the lid as they see fit. Allow the art to dry , then add string to the back so it can be hung.
