What could be more fun than counting bananas with a monkey??
This activity supports children as they practice counting aloud and count to tell the number of objects in a group. With this activity they are also learning to recognize numerals and older children can associate the written number word with the numeral.
Learning to tell which group of objects has more or less is important for a solid foundation in math!
With this fun activity preschoolers are counting, reading numerals, and deciding which group of bananas is more and which is less!
This is a great first introduction to math symbols, learning what the Greater-than sign looks like and means gives preschoolers a greater understanding of these math concepts when they diver deeper into these math operations later on.
