Extend their use
Play dough play is such a great way to build strong fingers and hands! For more fine motor fun you can turn these mats into a cut and paste activity! Simply have children cut out pumpkin, corn, leaf, apple, spider, and feather shapes from construction paper or magazines and then glue them onto the mats.
You can also build fine motor skills by transforming them into sticker activity mats . Simply print the mat, and provide the children with stickers to add to the mats!
