This is also a great week to set up a Garden in your Dramatic Play Space. You can also add a compost bucket to your play kitchen and teach the children about composting.
This pretend play felt garden was created by Erica P. of Erica's Educare Learning Center. She created her garden from a Large Cardboard Box. She added pool noodles, brown fabric, and hot glued a garden border to the outside (that she picked up at the Dollar Tree).
Invite the children to create new objects from old materials. Add recycled materials to the construction space this week: Cardboard boxes, Containers, loose parts, etc.
