In addition to climbers and swing sets- you can also incorporate many of the Learning Spaces you have inside your home, in your Outdoor Space as well. From Reading Areas to Outdoor Dramatic Play Spaces the possibilities are endless.
A playhouse can be furnished with an outdoor friendly kitchen, dolls, and play food. An open ended playhouse can become a Store, Movie Theater, Restaurant, or Post Office (Just provide a prop box).
Even if you don't have a playhouse, a Mud Pie kitchen can provide hours of entertainment.
Some items to add to this space include: watering cans, Pie tins, and kitchen utensils.
You can inspire Children to perform by creating a back yard theater. Provide a box of Props and Costumes, or a box of instruments for an impromptu backyard concert.
