Each week the members of our Community share their fabulous ideas! December didn't disappoint. From Decking the Tree to Gingerbread Men the group has been sharing all kinds of December inspiration. Below is a small collection of some of the ideas that have been shared in our Group this month.

This Hot Chocolate Sensory Bin was created by Cheryl V. of Cherie's Learning Tree and is sure to provide a lot of fun on a Winters Day. Cheryl used the Chocolate Play Dough Recipe from Nurture Store!
These adorable Reindeer footprints belong to the Children at TT's Inhome childcare
Krista C's kiddos at. TT's inhome childcare also made these fun melted pony bead ornaments. Here is a tutorial on how to make them!
Nancy D. of Jones Early Care And Preschool is also a member of the Daycare Spaces and Ideas Member Download Area. She shared a photo of the kiddos in her care playing the Santa Dress Up Game from the "Santa and His Friends" Printable Activity Pack.
Sarah N. a Professional Nanny shared this fantastic child created snowman. She put collage materials on the table and this is what her 2.5 yr old kiddo made... She told Sarah "I make a snowman like Chilly"-so sweet!
Tracie Gonzales of Happy Hearts Family Daycare shared two
of the recent crafts her kiddos made!
Amanda P. shared a photo of the cloud dough she made with a "Christmas Twist"! She used red sugar crystals and peppermint extract!
Heidi S. of Heidi Slaters Home Childcare created a Tree decorating invitation. She provided loose parts such as: cut up pool noodles, magna tiles, magformers, and loofahs . The Tree was assembled by the kids and decorated by the kids . She said, "(This is an) open ended activity that can be added to daily or changed daily. The children are able to have a sense of pride for something they did."
Julie K. of Julie's Childcare found a fun way to keep the Christmas magic alive. The children "planted" tic-tacs, sprinkled them with colored sprinkles-only to find
they had grown into rainbow candy canes.
The kiddos at Julie's Childcare kept busy with a wrapping paper workshop! Tons of precut wrapping paper squares, tape, glue, ribbon, scissors. Great for those small motor skills!
The children at Powell Family Child Care were pleased to lace cereal onto candy cane shaped pipe cleaners. They will hang them from tree branches to help feed the birds.
While pretending they were Santa the kids at Heidi Slaters Home Childcare wrapped the toys with foil. Foil works great as a reusable wrapping paper, and can be done by even the young children, since no tape is needed.
Katie of Katie Maes Daycare, so generously shared a weeks worth of Childcare Meals-
they look so delicious!
Heidi S. of Heidi Slaters Childcare created some Dramatic play gingerbread outfits! She made them from brown stocking hats. She also made aprons from old jeans with painted gingerbread men.
The Christmas elf Sprinx at Amber H's, returned with Sprinxcakes...
The children at Teacher's Pet Pre-K made a pinecone tree and wrapped some presents for their collection of squirrels & other forest animals.
Heidi S. of Heidi Slaters Home Daycare found this fun Gingerbread Man-which is actually a Pet toy! She used as the runaway gingerbread man for a simple game of hide and seek .
The kiddos at Tykes 'n Tots Preschool & Daycare hammered 3/4" wire brads into various shapes and stretched "loom" rubber bands to create these "string" art creations.
The Kiddos at Sarah B's enjoyed some time outside!
The kiddos at Pumpkin Patch Preschool have been working so hard on their group canvas. Patty has kindly shared the photos of their progress with the group. They finally decided it was "complete"!
Using paper snowflake templates and snow spray Banzer's Family Totspot created a wintry scene!
The kiddos at Kay G's. have been making beautiful ornaments for their Christmas Tree!
Jesse F.'s kiddos made some super fun Gingerbread Houses out of Graham Crackers!
The Kiddos at Tall Adventures Childcare made some very pretty dough ornaments.
