Clip Cards pgs. 2-3
Assembly Directions: Directions for play: Using clothespins or markers of your choice, children clip or mark the shape on the bottom of the card that matches the turkey shape on the card.
Roll a Turkey Rolling Game
Directions for play: Children roll the cube and add the correct turkey pieces to the mat. Play continues when all turkey parts have been added to the mat.
Turkey leg color matching activity
Directions for play: Children match the correct colored turkey leg to the same colored turkey.
Pre-Writing/Cutting Practice
Directions for play: Children practice tracing, or cutting along the dotted lines. Laminate or Use in a dry erase pocket to use with dry erase markers for pre-writing practice.
Lowercase alphabet puzzle
Directions for play: Children assemble the alphabet in order from A-Z
Count and Clip Cards
Directions for play: Using clothespins or markers of your choice, children “mark” the correct number of feathers to the corresponding amount of items on the card.
Turkey Puzzle 1-10
Directions for play: Children order the puzzle pieces from 1-10 to complete the puzzles. *Note the children can also use this type of activity for cutting & pasting practice.
Turkey feather counting mats 1-10 without frames
Directions for play: Using feather of your choice, the children place the correct amount of counters on each mat.
Pumpkin Pie counting mats 1-10 with frames
Directions for play: Place the correct amount of counters in the frames on each mat.
Pumpkin Pie Rolling Game
Directions for play: Children roll the cube and add the correct amount of whipped cream topping pieces to the mat. Play continues until 10-20 have been added. Can be played collaboratively or independently.
Patterning Activity
Directions for play: Children complete the pattern by adding the play pieces to the empty box. *Note this can also be turned into a cut and paste activity, or Pattern Strips as desired.

Directions: Children sort the turkey’s by size

Directions for play: Children place the correct labels on the mat. *This can also be used as a cut and paste activity.
Uppercase & Lowercase Pumpkin Pie Puzzles
Directions for play: Children match the uppercase and lowercase sides to complete the pumpkin pie.
Please pass manners game:
Directions: Place food cards on the table. Children flip over the word wall cards and ask a friend to "Please Pass the ...." food item. After they receive the item they say, "Thank you" to their friend. Play rotates around the table until all food items have been passed or until all children have had multiple turns.
Thanksgiving Around the House:
Directions: Children place the Thanksgiving activity in the correct room it takes place around the house.
Color Turkey Matching Puzzles:
Directions for play: Children match the colored turkey card to the matching color feathers on the mat
Color turkey pattern clip cards:
Directions for play: Using clothespins or markers of your choice, children “mark” the colored turkey that completes the pattern AB, AAB, ABB, ABC
Thanksgiving Word Wall Cards:
Directions: Hang in pocket chart or around the room
3 Part Cards:
Directions: Match the word to the image
