Magnet painting combines process art, an element of science, and music! As with any STEAM or process art activity, the focus is on a child's creativity and observation skills as opposed to the final product.
Here are some learning outcomes and vocabulary opportunities for this activity:
If you are in our FB Community, you may have noticed our new weekly D.I.Y on a $5 Budget challenge. Each week we encourage our members to share creative activities, and D.I,Y items for their program that they have made for under $5.
This week I thought I would get in on the action and share this fun fruit and vegetable pick up activity I created for $3.
I love to bring you new ways to use my products in your program! This adorable farm chores story table below was created by member Alina D. of Growing Up Montessori and Waldorf Inspired by combining miniature farm props, and the chore cards from my Farm Chores Dramatic Play Mini Pack.
A Story table combines stories/print items with storytelling props. Children can use this space to re-tell stories by manipulating these props hands on. Story tables provide many opportunities for children to to grow their language skills such as: re-telling a story, sequencing, new vocabulary, and an understanding of prepositional phrases. They can also provide a deeper understanding about non-concrete subjects, and of course allow children to express themselves creatively.
Have you been searching for a fun new Process Art Project? In addition to being fun-sponge painting supports motor skills, creativity, and sensory input!
The first step is gathering your materials:
One of my favorite activities to do with my family is go to the Farmers Market! Fresh produce, local handmade treasures, live music, and getting to know others in the community....what's not to love?? Recreate that same magic in your classroom with my Farmers Market Dramatic Play Pack.

Although the doors to my family child care business have long been closed, I’m honored to still be part of the amazing and important work being done by so many family child care providers across the world.
When I first started my website, my goal was to make it easier for child care providers to create their own thematic lesson plans (so they would no longer need to spend tons of time finding activities, and money on pre-made plans/curriculum that didn’t meet the specific developmental needs of the children in their care).
My journey led me to a new found passion for creating printable educational products. To date, I have created over 1,000 individual activities spanning over 52 themes. It gives me such a thrill to see my products being used in so many countries, by such a variety of early childhood educators (including child care providers, Pre-K teachers, and parents homeschooling Pre-K aged children).
After much contemplation, I have decided to move forward with re-branding my business in order to better serve my expanded customer base, and to reflect my continued focus on creating printable products full time.
So without further adieu, I’d like to welcome you to Pre-K Printable Fun!
The re-branding will take place in phases over the next few weeks. You can expect to see more communication about these changes posted to the site, social media accounts and in my emails throughout the month. The changes should be automatic (you should automatically be forwarded to the updated website) without any action on your part.
Early child hood educators can expect to find the following type of content on my site:
•My printable products designed for Pre-K aged children 3-5
•Posts showing creative ways to use my products
•Thematic Lesson Planning Resources
•Suggested DIY and low cost educational activities to help meet the developmental needs of Pre-K aged children
•Highlights from our subscribers and members
I'm looking forward to sharing new products and helpful posts with you, and
thank you for your continued support!

P.S Below you can find a short Q&A answering many questions! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
How will this affect club members? Other than a new website address (which they should be forwarded to automatically), Club members will see no changes to their current membership plan, or products they have access to.
How long will the re-branding take? The majority of the updates (new logo, site address, group updates) will be complete by the end of the month. Some of the re-branding such as updating my product covers, and graphics may take a while.
Will I still have access to the free sample lesson plans and lesson planning idea library? Yes! The existing blog posts, and lesson planning resources may be re-organized and updated, but the content on the site is not going away.
Will the Daycare resources be going away? No! I will be updating my menu bar and will create a spot to house all of the resources specific to daycare (such as provider advice, forms, etc).
How will this affect the FB Communities?
