My printer died this week, which of course sent me into a panic. In addition to creating printables for my Members Area, I also use my printer for printing homeschool resources.
A while ago my husband (the king of random facts) told me that printer ink costs more per ounce than oil. Needless to say I hear his voice in the back of my head every time I print "Heavy Graphic" prints, photos or multiple page printables. Well not anymore!
After doing some research I came across the HP Instant Ink Program. With this program, you choose a monthly printing plan that works for you (I pay $9.99 and get up to 300 pages of full color printing every month).
Better yet, your HP Instant ink compatible printer communicates with HP, and let's them when you are low on ink. When my Printer senses I'm getting low, HP mails out new ink cartridges saving me a trip the store and $672 a year on my ink costs.
In order to participate in this program you will need an eligible printer.
HP offers a wide variety of printers. I found a great deal an HP Envy 4520 on Amazon. I love that I can print to this wireless printer from all of our devices anywhere in the house. It prints on a variety of sizes of paper an envelopes. It also prints Double sided which is excellent for saving on paper, and creating multi-sided printables.
After you have an eligible printer, you can sign up for Instant ink.
You'll have 3 choices based on your usage:
Don't forget to save your receipts, and claim them on your taxes.
With Instant ink, you will no longer have to worry aboutprint rich photos, or printables.
HP also offers and amazing refer a friend program. Just share your link with your friends and you both earn free ink! Sign up

The last time I was at the Dollar Tree, I found a huge assortment of Themed erasers that would be perfect to use as manipulatives for DIY Counting and Sorting games. When I came across the transportation themed erasers I knew they would
be perfect for a Math game.
The printables I have included in this activity are available to print from my Members Only Area. If you haven't joined yet, you can find out more information about joining here-let me help you save time planning!
