Since we planning our "Spring Cleaning" Theme for next week, I thought I'd share an easy
tutorial on how you can turn an "Adult" sized Mop (or Broom) into a child sized one.
The first thing you need to do is pop the end cap off, and wrap a piece of masking tape (or painters tape) around the pole-where you want to cut (This will help prevent the paint from chipping off the pole).
I headed down to local Dollar Tree and Picked up a Regular Sized Mop.
They normally have brooms as well (but were out of stock during my visit).
Grab a Hand Saw, and Miter Box (and an extra set of hands if you have them nearby) and cut. Pop that lid back on (or secure with hot-glue if necessary) and now you have a Mop perfect for little hands!
Happy Spring Cleaning!
