Are you a creative early childhood educator with a passion for hands-on learning and curriculum design? Do you love planning playful, purposeful activities that support preschoolers' development? We’re looking for a Curriculum Assistant (contractor) to support the planning and development of fun, educational resources for our preschool-focused platform.

What You’ll Do:
- As our Curriculum Assistant, you'll collaborate with our team to help build and organize engaging early learning materials that align with Pre-K standards. You’ll work behind the scenes to keep our curriculum rooted in best practices, while making it fresh, fun, and teacher-friendly.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Mapping & Planning
- Review and work within early learning standards to develop theme-based curriculum maps
- Break big ideas into bite-sized learning objectives
- Draft unit overviews with vocabulary, target skills, and materials
- Plan pacing and sequence across themes
- Suggest differentiated learning options
- Support creation of hands-on activities and simple assessments
- Keep curriculum documents up-to-date in PowerPoint
- Brainstorm creative resource ideas based on classroom trends and educator needs
- Identify product gaps and recommend solutions
- Maintain a product ideas list in Airtable
- Write clear, structured scopes for new activities and units
- Align content with preschool learning standards
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure clarity and consistency
- Revise content based on team feedback
- Draft lesson outlines and summaries
- Create hands-on activities that promote active learning
- Collaborate with educators to ensure practicality and flexibility
- Organize and revise lesson materials as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Located in the U.S. and authorized to work as a 1099 contractor
- Experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE, preschool, Pre-K, or curriculum writing)
- Strong understanding of early learning standards (e.g., state or NAEYC-aligned frameworks)
- Excellent written communication skills
- Comfortable working in tools like PowerPoint and Airtable
- Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Bonus points if you’ve worked in content development, homeschool planning, or product design!
