Melissa Solomon is the founder and CEO of Pre-K Printable Fun. Our mission is to support a variety of early childhood educators (childcare providers, preschool teachers, and parents), caring for preschoolers ages 3-5 (not yet in Kindergarten) in planning their own thematic preschool curriculum and lessons.
We believe educator's know their students needs best, planning preschool lessons/activities doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg, and we love to save educators planning time so they can spend their time on the weekends with those they love, doing the things they love.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The person in this position will design and develop a variety of developmentally appropriate hands-on preschool learning resources (in PowerPoint) for our company that align with our companies featured themes. Some of these include: STEM Challenges, Science Resources, Math and Literacy Centers/Task Box Activities, and book companion activities. In this position you will also be responsible for adding easy to follow assembly and use directions, teacher tips, and learning objectives to these products.
This position requires someone who has an excellent understanding of early childhood development, has experience creating printable products in PowerPoint, excellent editing skills, grammar, and an eye for details. The person in this position, must be able to work efficiently, and complete tasks on deadline to avoid disruptions in our publishing process.

Some of the tasks include the following, but are not limited to:
- Developing and Designing new Preschool appropriate printable resources for children ages 3-5 (not yet in Kindergarten) that align with our themes, or featured topics.
- Providing a scope of the planned activity to the team lead for review (Suggested Table of Contents, Description, Learning Objectives, Links to Clip Art, or Custom Clip Art Requests),
- Updating existing resources, or creating a new resource from existing design file
- Reviewing your work for quality, design, and accuracy
- Adding directions, teacher tips, and learning objectives to the resources.
- Itemizing each project and invoice Pre-K Printable Fun by the last Friday of each month (using a tracking and invoicing method of your choice).
REQUIREMENTS:

- You are a current or Previous Early Childhood Educator with a Degree, or excellent knowledge of early learning standards.
- You have an exceptional eye for detail
- Strong spelling, grammar, and instructional writing skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable internet and computer
- Access to (and experience using) PowerPoint (monthly subscription or purchased).
- Experience with (or willing to learn) our team tools: Dropbox, Asana, Gmail, Messenger
