I'm so thankful to have an amazing group of contributors sharing their ideas, images, and knowledge with my readers. Having such a diverse group of early educators contributing to my site is one of the things that I think makes it extra special. Learn more about some of our regular contributors below:
Sheena Wheeler is the owner of Building Blocks Family Childcare. She has over 10 years experience operating her own child care business. She was introduced to this business by her grandmother who had been a home childcare provider for as long as she can remember! She is a lifelong learner, studying primarily the field of Early Childhood Education. Sheena also works as a mentor for home based childcare providers in the area where she lives. She says she, "Enjoys helping other providers start their businesses and lending support once they are operational." You can also find her helping out as an Admin in our FB Communities. She is also a wife and mother to three wonderful boys. In her free time she enjoys working in the garden with her boys and working on home improvements with her husband.
Hello, my name is Alina Dutka. I am the mom of two brilliant boys, blazing educator of tiny children and expressive artist. I love nature, reading and spending time with my family! I have a strong passion for working with children and I truly love exploring every opportunity that my little playful learners inspire in me. I plant this passion, into stimulating lesson designs and early learning invitations, and present it to the children in the most creative ways! I am a trained Pre-Primary Montessori Educator as well as a Certified Kids and Teens Yoga Teacher. I founded my home-based child care program -Growing Up Montessori and Waldorf Inspired Hybrid- over 6 years ago. I love the natural rhythm of our days and the personalized attention I can offer to each of my tiny friends. We engage into daily play, learning, storytelling, baking and many nature ventures. My collaboration with Melissa Solomon and Pre-K Printable Fun started in 2017. I love designing and assembling activities with Pre-K Printable Fun's engaging prints and activities!
