On my recent trip to the Dollar Tree I was inspired by all of the Halloween Items.
I ran across these stretchy spiders insects and knew I needed to create a Printable to share with you! My Dollar Tree had an assortment of creepy crawlies to choose from. For this activity I picked up some spiders, beetles, flies, and worms. These would be great to use for your Creatures in the Garden Unit as well.
For this Counting activity young children will have the opportunity to practice counting spiders or practice counting the bugs that get caught in the spiders web. Using the number cards provided, they will place the corresponding number of objects on the web mat.
Preschoolers are learning to count in all kinds of ways!
Discovering multiple ways to count and record quantitative data is fun and meaningful for preschoolers. This fun activity offers an opportunity to do just that!
Preschoolers are busy learning many different basic math concepts, paving the way for more complex number operations later in life.
To keep learning interesting it's important for educators to have a variety of fun materials and activities on-hand. I love supporting early childhood educators by creating new printables and showing fun ways to use them!
This post includes a free printable, along with activity ideas to help your preschooler learn essential math skills.
